LA PLATA INVESTMENTS, LLC ANNOUNCES THE GRAND OPENING OF LOWE’S
Colorado Springs, CO (January 12, 2006) --- La Plata Investments, LLC is proud to announce the grand opening of Lowe’s Home Improvement Center, the next major retail store in Briargate Crossing located in Colorado Springs. The second largest home improvement retailer will boast a 165,000 square foot store and garden center that will encompass nearly 14 acres.
Lowe’s will join Memorial Hospital who is building an 85-bed, $142 million dollar facility southwest of Lowe’s. “We are pleased to have Lowe’s as part of our community,” commented Gary Reyner, manager of commercial development for Briargate developer La Plata Investments.
The 300-acre Briargate Crossing campus is the newest business campus in Colorado Springs. Located in the 10,000-acre master planned Briargate community, Briargate Crossing will consist of office, retail, and medical facilities.
